Booking a demo

Purpose: to arrange the meeting you request, prepare a discussion suited to your business and follow it up.

Data concerned: name, work email address, time slot and time zone, role, number of technicians, current tools, and any information you choose to add.

Required information: in the current configuration of the form, contact details, the time slot and the three qualification answers are needed to complete the booking. You can write to us directly if you prefer not to use the calendar.

Legal basis: Fildy’s legitimate interest in responding to requests from professionals and preparing a relevant commercial discussion. Pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject may also apply depending on the circumstances.

Recipients: the founders and the people responsible for the commercial relationship at Fildy, Cal.com and the calendar provider connected to the account, only as needed to arrange the booking.

Retention: for up to three years after your last contact if no contract is concluded. If a contractual relationship begins, the necessary information is kept for the duration of the relationship and then for the applicable legal periods.

The calendar is provided by Cal.com. It remains entirely inactive until you choose to show it. Once opened, your browser communicates directly with Cal.com to provide the booking service.

Cal.com privacy policy

Direct contact by email

Purpose: to respond to your message and, if you ask us to, continue the commercial discussion.

Data concerned: your email address, your professional identity and the content of your message.

Required information: only the information needed to understand your request and respond to it is required.

Legal basis: your request for pre-contractual steps and, depending on the context, Fildy’s legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries.

Recipients: the people handling the request at Fildy and the email provider used by the company.

Retention: for as long as needed to handle the request, then for no more than three years after the last contact if no contract is concluded.

Website operation and security

Purpose: to serve the site, prevent abuse, diagnose incidents and protect the service.

Data concerned: technical request data and security logs, which may temporarily include the IP address, the browser, the date and the requested URL.

Required information: this processing automatically accompanies the requests needed to display and secure the site.

Legal basis: Fildy’s legitimate interest in providing and securing its public website.

Recipients: Fildy and its hosting provider, only as needed to operate the site.

Retention: for the period strictly necessary for operation and security, followed by deletion or anonymisation according to the hosting provider’s configuration and the needs of handling an incident.

Audience measurement

Purpose: to understand how the site is used and improve its navigation.

Data concerned: page views, clicks, scrolling, referring website, campaign labels, language, device type, browser and performance metrics, with no identifier kept in your browser.

Required information: measurement is not needed to browse the site, contact us or book a demo. It is disabled when your browser sends the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Legal basis: Fildy’s legitimate interest in understanding traffic to its public website. You can object through your browser’s privacy signals or by writing to us.

Recipients: Fildy and PostHog, its audience measurement provider (PostHog Cloud EU).

Retention: no identifier is kept in your browser; the event retention period can be requested from Fildy.

PostHog’s cookieless mode: no cookies or browser storage, no named profiles, no session recordings, no linking with the Fildy application. Clicked element text and attributes and unexpected URL parameters are excluded from the events sent.

Privacy and data protection at PostHog

Cookies and external services

Audience measurement sets no cookies and uses neither local storage nor session storage in your browser; the site therefore shows no consent banner for this measurement.

The Cal.com calendar makes no request until you choose to show it. When you open it, your browser contacts Cal.com and its own policy applies to the technical means used to provide the booking service.

Fildy uses no advertising cookies. The browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable audience measurement.

Providers and transfers

The website host, Cal.com and PostHog publish their own commitments, subprocessors and safeguards; Fildy limits the data sent to them to what the requested service needs.

If access or a transfer outside the European Economic Area is necessary, it must rely on a mechanism recognised by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The applicable details can be requested from Fildy.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request:

• restriction of processing
• objection to processing based on legitimate interest
